On its 13 kilometres that flows through the city, the Seine divides Paris into two and the people cross from one side to the other by its more than 30 bridges and walkways, some of which are famous worldwide for their beauty and historical interest.

It is an absolute must for all tourists to walk along them and stop to take in these unique pieces of such varied styles. Some are built in stone and others in iron. Some have centuries of history behind them and others are much more modern. Some are bursting with sculptures and other details and others are very sober in design.

On moving around Paris, as well as using its fantastic network of metro and bus, you should wander around and admire its bridges. You just cannot miss Pont Neuf, Pont Alexandre III or Pont de l’Alma.
