If you descend from the square “Praça dos Restauradores” towards the “Pedro IV” square, you should find the Rossio train station whose fascinating façade is well worth a look.
Designed by José Luis Monteiro, the station was built at the end of the 19th century in the neo-manueline style. Two Moorish style horse-shoe arches look down from the façade of this station whose rail lines run as far as Queluz and Sintra.
